Ashley-Ann Elizabeth Robinson Foster was born and raised in Montego Bay Jamaica where she was educated until she left for University in England in 2007. She attended the University of Buckingham where she held various positions of leadership, received several academic prizes and was awarded a first class honours Law degree. She was then accepted to the University of Cambridge where she completed a Masters of Commercial Law. Thereafter, she became a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in London where she was called to the Bar of England and Wales.
Studying in England afforded Ashley-Ann many professional and social opportunities which have provided her with an international perspective on various aspects of life.
Upon completion of her professional training, Ashley-Ann felt that it incumbent upon her to return to Jamaica in order to make a significant contribution to the economic and social growth of her country through nation building. She enrolled at the Norman Manley Law School and undertook the six month conversion course in order to qualify to be called to the Bar of Jamaica. Ashley-Ann currently works as an Associate at the Montego Bay based and family owned firm of Robinson-Foster and Associates Attorneys-at-Law and Notary Public.
