Delano Seiveright is Senior Advisor and Communications Strategist in the Jamaican Government and more specifically the Minister of Tourism. He is internationally recognized as one of Jamaica’s leading Cannabis law reform advocates and is a Corporate Communications Consultant to several local and international companies.
Delano holds a Bachelors of Science degree (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of the West Indies and a Masters of Science degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London. He currently sits as a Director on several Jamaican government Boards including the National Insurance Fund and the Cannabis Licensing Authority. He was also a Board Director for the Jamaica Information Service, the Tourism Product Development Company, the Tourism Enhancement Fund, National Family Planning Board, the Postal Corporation of Jamaica among several others.
Delano was also a host of leading radio current affairs morning talk shows Breakfast Club, Jamaica Speaks and FreshStart and regular Guest Columnist for the Gleaner.
