Mr. Isaacs is a Jamaican-Canadian businessman and has founded, led and developed many businesses over his 30 year career. He has spent the greater part of his career involved in building companies in third world and emerging economies and is very familiar with the government, diplomatic and industry channels in many third world economies. Currently, Mr. Isaacs is the Founder, CEO and Director of Green Stripe Naturals Ltd., a Canadian based private company specializing in developing medical cannabis assets in Jamaica. To date GSN has acquired an interest in a Jamaican company with an approved Cultivation License (Tier 3) and conditional approvals for a Processing License (Tier 2), R & D License, Transportation License and a Dispensary License (Herb House). To date, GSN has completed construction of a fully operational cultivation facility in Clarendon, Jamaica and expects to commence cultivation in early April 2019.
Mr. Isaacs has had a multi-faceted career with senior positions in the resource and financial sectors and has been a senior officer / director of over 30 stock exchange listed companies in Canada and abroad. Mr. Isaacs has been a member of founding group of a number of successful companies most notably Forsys Metals Inc. a TSX listed company with uranium properties in Namibia, Africa which he managed from start up to in excess of $750 million in market capitalization. During his tenure with Forsys, the company raised over $75 million, was added to the TSX Composite Index.
Mr. Isaacs has had a 30 year career on Bay Street specializing in the commodity based start up companies in the natural resource sector both as a corporate executive of resource companies and as an investment banker. Mr. Isaacs is a graduate of the prestigious University of Western Ontario and has held numerous securities certifications and licenses.
Mr. Isaacs has won several business, entrepreneurship and achievement awards, and he has chaired and participated in many international resource discussions and has been recently featured in various media in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
