Martin Algernon Roberts is the Chief Executive Officer of Antigua and Barbuda Medicinal Cannabis Authority. With an education in Pharmacy, Management and Teaching, Algernon started his professional career as a Pharmacist at the Holberton Hospital. In the course of his career, he has worked his way up through various levels of management to Director of Operations and Acting Chief Executive Officer at Medical Benefits Scheme (MBS). He has also been involved in teaching pharmacology as a lecturer and is the Head of the School of Pharmacy, Antigua State College. Algernon was also involved in the Antigua and Barbuda Pharmacy Council, with his last position being President of the Antigua and Barbuda Pharmacy Council. He has conducted several investigations, procurement, and inventory review for many governmental departments.
