Dr. Carlie Bell-Biggins attended The Ohio State University on a full academic scholarship for her undergraduate education before attending Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona where she obtained her Naturopathic Medical Doctor degree in 2008. She incorporates cannabinoid medicine into her holistic medical practice where she educates patients on the use of medical cannabis for their health concerns and certifies patients for their medicinal cannabis cards.
Carlie founded Monaco Natural Health Solutions in 2018, a wellness-based company delivering cannabis education, products, and services. She also holds a license to manufacture, distribute and sell consumable hemp products.
Dr. Bell-Biggins has written both didactic and clinical health care curriculum as a medical program director and managed medical faculty for various college’s health and wellness programs. Dr. Carlie’s latest cannabis curriculum development project included building and teaching the CSO 5200 course for Saint Louis University’s Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutic Management, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate program.
Dr. Bell-Biggins is a member of the Association for Cannabis Health Equity and Medicine (ACHEM). ACHEM is a professional medical association for BIPOC healthcare professionals and students interested in cannabinoid medicine and health equity. As a freelance writer, Carlie is a contributing author for several national and international publications on topics including the health benefits of cannabis, CBD and hemp, natural health therapies, wellness trends, healthy lifestyle choices, and more.
