Kathie Lennon sometimes referred to as Queen Sativa, is a Jamaican ganja farmer with more than twenty five years of experience and a Community Advocate championing ganja policy reform, economic develop and women empowerment. She is a member of NORML International and a student of the Oaksterdam University. An active advocate of the plant for the past three (3) ears in Jamaica, Kathie assisted the GANJA GROWERS AND PRODUCERS ASSOCIATION (GGPA) in organizing chapters in parishes across Jamaica. Educating grassroots’ people on getting involved and learning about the regulated ganja industry, Advocating for policy and regulations that are inclusive of grassroots’ farmers. Educating farmers on the opportunity and informing the general public on the truth of ganja. Kathie has been training farmers across the island on organic methods for cultivating ganja and understating the value of Jamaica’s cultivars. In November 2015, working with some of the world’s greatest ganja growers and breeders, Kathie facilitated seven growers workshop at Rastafari Rootzfest host HIGH TIMES 2015 Jamaica Wold Cannabis Cup. As the CEO of KML Agro Consulting Ltd, Kathie has worked with industry pioneers such as Privateer Holdings, House of Hemp and Marley Natural. Kathie is also involved in a joint research with House of Hemp South Africa.
